The ‘Great Crunch’ ended the world as humanity once knew it. This mysterious event unleashed biological wonders and horrors that overwhelmed human civilisation. Battling a planet that evolved beyond them, the remnants of humanity remain scattered and living under the spectre of daily terror.
Amidst this great global reset, Crunch Days remains one of the few surviving operational communications channels on planet Earth. Under the management of the ‘Fallback Committee’, we arose from the ashes of the old world and now transmit instructional and educational material across the globe.
However, the purpose of these transmissions is not, simply, to aid human survival. We at Crunch Days are, rather, on a higher mission to train the children of humanity in vital adaptation and resilience to their new environment.
There is no going back to the old world. Planet Earth has evolved. Humanity must evolve to become a part of its new order.
Hi, my name is Ash Ravan. Thank you so much for visiting website! I am a (very) amateur writer and worldbuilder.
I love worldbuilding. It has been a valuable escape from the overwhelming grind of daily life.
I spent so much of my life enjoying fictional worldbuilding, that I began creating my own fictional worlds (mostly in my head). Eventually, I got off my sofa and and set up this website as a written hub fr my latest worldbuilding project -the Biopunk world of Crunch Days.
I will look to write prose fiction at some point in the future and, possibly, develop an audio drama podcast based on my short fiction or within one of the fictional worlds that I am working on.
