One of the foundations of Kali Biosystem’s culture of pure research is its commitment to ecosystems.
This is not merely a green washing platitude. Kali has spent nearly one century systematically purchasing and protecting ecosystems across planet Earth. These ecosystems are managed under Kali’s Ecosystems Research Portfolio (EcoRP). In fact, the assets under EcoRP makes Kali Biosystems one of the largest single landowners on Planet Earth.
Kali has achieved this through a complex network of financing and government agreements.
The motivation for such a large scale undertaking speaks to the core of Kali Biosystems very mission and belief.
As humanity raced to surrender itself first to the industrial and then to the digital revolution, it largely turned its back on the natural world from which it was born. As a result, the human race would eventually but up against the inherent limitations of relying solely on hardware and software. This contrasted with nature and biology, which offers an infinite world of exploration and insight.
Therefore, Kali Biosystems established EcoRP to purchase large numbers of forests, costs, greenlands, lakes, ocean sections and other ecosystems to ensure their conservation.
Kali follows minimal maintenance policy for the ecosystems it owns. It limits its management to securing their ecosystems from man made interference. Any natural changes are allowed to take their course (his mirrors many re-wilding projects that came before).
Kali conserves and secures its ecosystems through a combination of legal protections and active sceurity measures implemented by its Safety and Security Division.
Each EcoRP site is referred to as an EcoProgramme (or ECP). Each EcoProgramme hosts numerous research and exploration projects. These secure ecosystems have provided valuable insights and opportunities for Kali Biosystems research teams.
Notable examples include the development of Xenitol, the worlds most potent mind enhancement drug. Xenitol was extracted from the rare Bellion plant in the Amazon rainforest.
There is also SWF (structured webing fabrications), a lightweight and highly impenetrable protective material that has become an integral component in construction, engineering and defence. SWF was developed based on research on the Deacon spiders of Indonesia.
There have, however, been notable controversies and criticism with Kali Biosystems ownership of ecosystems. The SSD have been accused of numerous acts of violence and murder against people deemed to be trespassing on EcoProgrammes. A striking example was the battle of the Brazilian Rainforest, where SSD units got into intense firefights with workers and security teams from logging companies seeking to tear down trees.
In addition, Kali Biosystems have been criticised for blocking the public from accessing and enjoying the ecosystems it owns. This attracted observations that Kali may be destroying the concept of public spaces and environments.
These controversies, however, have not stopped the expansion and success of Kali’s EcoRP. In fact, Kali has recently confirmed the expansion of EcoRP to the planet Ravaan as part of a joint venture with Jupiter Logistics and Rambik Engineering.
As Kali expands prepares to explore the boundless ecosystems of space, it will likely drive Human advancement to levels that could previously only be imagined.
